Job summary:
The prep cook/service cook is responsible for multiple tasks throughout the day while maintaining customer satisfaction with guests and groups within the Wellness Café. The cook is also responsible for preparing all food items based on curated recipes while maintaining the highest standards to create an appealing and appetizing product. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation and safety in the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste and maximizing production ratio.
Duties and functions:
Complete food and work station preparation prior to the opening and after the closing of the wellness cafe based on the provided guidelines.
Prepare and service all cafe menu items - sandwiches, salads, baked goods, bowls, etc. based on the recipes specified by the Chef.
Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, recipes, and plating design.
Maintain cleanliness of all food preparation and work areas. Follow all Health Department regulations regarding food safety and alcohol handling standards.
Keep food & storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers clean and organized.
Support barista/cashier position with beverage preparation, POS & customer service as needed.
Be able to adjust menu items for the customers based on their wellness needs and requirements.

Resolve customer complaints efficiently and quickly.
Work various hours based on staffing and business needs.

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent and/or related experience in a Cafe or a related field preferred.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Able to stand during entire shift.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with the Café`s standards required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Café.

aSSISTANT CAFE MANAGER

Job summary:
The Assistant Cafe Manager is responsible for ensuring excellence in guest satisfaction through efficient operations achieved by effective training of staff, quality service and positive environment.
Duties and functions:
Assists the Restaurant Manager with daily tasks to ensure all outlets are running
efficiently
Acts as community ambassador, creating goodwill toward brand
Supervises Cafe and all related areas in the absence of the Chef/ Restaurant Manager
Ensures high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in staff and cleanliness of all dining areas
Ensures daily operational tasks are performed and completed
Performs and/or oversee order taking, and food waste control
Prepares weekly order and conducts monthly inventory of beverages: coffee, teas, smoothie ingredients, beer, wine, waters, etc. and managing stock levels
Ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served
according to the Cafe’s recipes, portioning, cooking, serving and time standards
Communicates to Chef / Restaurant Manager any issues regarding food quality, equipment, and service levels
Ensures compliance with all restaurant policies, standards and procedures
Grows and maintains ability to educate guests and staff about food and beverage menu, ingredients, and wine
Ensures all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and communication to Chef/Managers
Practices all necessary sanitation methods to ensure food safety standards are followed
Assists Chef/Manager in daily, weekly, monthly - cash handling, deposits, and tip allocation. Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with Cafe policies and procedures.
Handles guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from Management as necessary

Job summary:
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a boutique setting, attending to customer needs and preferences while demonstrating a fun, friendly, and approachable personality. The Sales Associate will also need to demonstrate knowledge of all Green Pineapple brand offerings and share that knowledge and philosophy with clients.
Duties and functions:
Demonstrating excellent customer service on the boutique floor during the entire shift
Ensuring the customer is always a priority
Demonstrating knowledge of boutique offerings and brands
Informing customers with additional programs and services, such as Loyalty
Rewards program, seasonal events, etc.
Managing the boutique area with continuous restocking and organizing
Maintaining boutique cleanliness
Maximizing boutique productivity
Performing all POS functions
Assisting with inventory and boutique merchandising
Assisting the Managers with additional assigned tasks
Requirements:
Friendly, helpful, engaging, and spirited personality - Basic understanding of sales and customer service practices
Basic administration skills, numerical accuracy, and cash management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to solve problems independently
Proven working experience in retail sales is a plus
Knowledge of the Lightspeed POS system is a plus
